Assignment 1

Just finishing up with Assignment 1. Using iWeb on my Macmini sure is making the assignment go a lot smoother. Just wish it wasn't so early in the morning that I was doing it but that's what happens when you are taking 20 units though!
Earlier in week I made appoints with and met with various faculty in my search for a capstone advisor.
I first met with Sathya Narayanan. He is a probably one of the more difficult faculty to get a hold of like Dr. Tao. Anyways, I wanted to discuss the peer-to-peer capstone he mentioned in the CST400 class last Friday but he told me he already had some students working on it. So that idea is dead. It would've been great for me though since I would've learned how to program for another phone, namely Android. I already know how to do iPhone programming since I took the class with Dr. Lockwood last semester. Android would've been a lot more fun and easier I would think since it uses Java instead of Objective-C, which the iPhone uses and is a lot more difficult to program for.
Later in the week I met with Dr. Byun to get the 496 class added since I wasn't enrolled yet and discussed some possible capstone ideas.
